There are many ways to Volunteer with Chrysalis Institute!

  • Featured project:
Interested in helping artist Cathy Vaughn harvest vines for a Chrysalis-themed interactive art exhibit at Lewis Ginter’s Wild Art (scroll down to A Butterflys Journey)?
Beginning May 15 through May 25, Cathy will be at LGBG from 8 AM to 6 PM daily. Anyone who wants to come and help should tell the desk that they are here to work on the butterflies path with Cathy Vaughn. Cathy also has an ongoing volunteer need thru the end of the installation for making intention tags that will get woven into a wall. Anyone who’s interested in helping with that can email cathy@tracery157.com. It’s a simple process — tying strings and threading those loops through copper tags. The garden expects around 900 visitors per day from June through September, so we have many many of these to make!
